This is a review for our awesome experience with Jamal from Australian Ourdoor Living. We recently were visited by Jamal for a quote for outdoor blinds. Jamal arrived on time and was so personable. He explained the pros and cons of many different products and we ended up going with one he recommended. We are yet to have our blinds installed so cannot comment on the products but it was worth mentioning that our experience with the sales department was a breeze!

Very disappointed with this company and would not recommend after the great customer service at the start and all promises made .We spent a lot of money for their services .Got my artificial lawn installed 2 years ago and now finding random sink holes in multiple areas .Attempted to call them 5 times in last couple months and every time I’m told they would call me back and manager was away from his desk , nobody would call me back .Iv noticed from other reviews that the same thing is happening to many other people and this is just unacceptable and unprofessional .Clearly want nothing to do with warranty claims or to help existing customers !!

Get ready for the agonising highly scripted sales pitch, 2 calls back to the manager for discounts which they are directed to do because they will always quote you a steeply higher price in the first place. Still expensive!Don’t believe the pitch about any reward for referrals as they never gave my referrer anything even after I contacted them 3 times to ask why nothing was forthcoming. My referrer was absolutely the only reason I went with this company. Have just bought another blind for a different area of the house from another company based solely on the complaint above.

If you want:- clear advice- honest communication- good customer serviceThen I advise you don't use Australian Outdoor Living.A hiccup arose on a job they did for me which was based on advice they gave during inital consult. After a week of following it up for a reasonable resolution, no call back (still waiting) and money for the final payment was deducted from my account without my agreement.Save yourself the headache and use a different mob. If it was possible to give 0 stars, that's what I'd give.

We would like to share our thoughts after our first meeting with Jamal. He visited our home in Burns Beach to quote on enclosing our patio. Jamal was friendly, informative and importantly, very pleasant throughout the process of negotiating a suitable product at a competitive price. The experience left us feeling very secure in agreeing to purchase. Jamal left us with a wonderful thank you for making him feel comfortable and welcome in our new home. Omg do not go with company. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON! I'm still waiting for them to fix the lawn someone with 20 years experience did. I have had the company out and still they lie and tell you what they think you want to hear. It's all on emails and happy to post them. The process started April last year 2022 and now it's JUNE... They wreaked my brand new concrete and again still waiting for them to fix it. Their poor communication thinks I will give up but I have been in touch with an umbudsman and the AFCA with emails and phone calls that I have recorded with this company. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON!

Absolutely appalling service.I went into the office in Wangara last Friday to complain about the synthetic lawn that was recently installed. It glistens more than a Xmas tree with lights and the joins are clearly visible. I was told by the salesman at the time it appeared the lawn was laid the wrong way". He assured me someone would get back to me and the problem will be rectified. Reece rings on Monday night

I'm really happy with the installation of the 7 outdoor automated blinds yesterday. They look great, work seamlessly and the service provided by Dorian and his team (including the electricians) was friendly, super efficient and exceedingly professional. My job was not the simplest, due to some angled verandah posts, and also posts that were not 100% vertical, however Dorian was able to come up with a solution and the result looks amazing and finishes off my outdoor living space perfectly. The price was more than I was expecting after a quote for the same a year previously which was much lower, however the end result is worth it.

Shocking service. Our artificial lawn wasn't installed in the time frame that was advised. There was an issue with the installation and that's when everything turned into a joke. It took MONTHS for the rectification in the installation to be fixed. As soon as we sent the complaint, there was radio silence from Australian Outdoor Living...yet they continued to call for payment of the outstanding balance. Installers came to fix without being booked in prior, and he had no idea what he was to fix and didn't even have the parts to fix it. Service is a joke. I wouldn't use them again ever.
